Team members from Suncoast Hotel & Casino, Cannery Casino Hotel and Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa participated in a Three Square Food Bank Volunteer Day to help tackle the ongoing hunger program in Southern Nevada.

Three Square Food Bank’s mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. Clark County is home to approximately 98 percent of the total food-insecure population in Southern Nevada. During the 2021-2022 fiscal year, Three Square distributed more than 42 million meals, the equivalent of more than 51 million pounds of food and grocery product, through their community partners.

To help fight to end hunger, 34 volunteers from the three Boyd Gaming properties combined efforts to pack 8,400 backpacks with meals in two hours! Some of the nonperishable items that were distributed were Animal Crackers, GoGo Squeez, Kellogg’s Nutri Grain Cereal Bars, Spaghetti O’s, Sweet Corn, Tuna Salad and more.

It was an incredible achievement for all three properties to come together as one to exceed the Company’s goal of 30 volunteers.
